- Departure from Cairo: Early departure with the guide towards Sinai, on a 460 km journey crossing the Goshen Desert

- Mara: In the Bible, Mara is a location mentioned in the Book of Exodus. It is where the Israelites, after their exodus from Egypt, came upon bitter water that they could not drink. The name Mara means "bitter" in Hebrew, reflecting the bitterness of the water.
- Elim and Rafidim: Elim: In the Bible, Elim is a place where the Israelites camped after leaving Mara. It is described as an oasis with twelve springs and seventy palm trees, providing a place of rest and refreshment for the people during their journey through the desert. Rafidim: Rafidim is another stop mentioned in the Book of Exodus, where the Israelites camped. It is notable for the incident where the Israelites, lacking water, complained to Moses.
