Day 1 – Arrival in Cairo
Upon arrival at Cairo International Airport, the traveler will be welcomed by the “Guia Viagem Egito” team with full assistance for the visa, immigration, and baggage claim. After the procedures, a private transfer to the hotel will be provided, followed by check-in and free time to rest. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 2 – Pyramids, Sphinx, and Grand Museum
After breakfast at the hotel, a full day is dedicated to the wonders of Ancient Egypt. The visit includes the imposing Pyramids of Giza (Khufu, Khafre, and Menkaure), the mysterious Sphinx, and the Valley Temple. Next, there will be a visit to the Grand Egyptian Museum (GEM), if it is open to the public, or to the classic Egyptian Museum in Tahrir Square. Return to the hotel in the late afternoon. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3 – Downtown Cairo and the Museum of Civilization
The day begins with breakfast, followed by a visit to the National Museum of Egyptian Civilization (NMEC), where the famous royal mummies are displayed. Next, the tour continues with a visit to the Mosque of Sultan Hassan and the historic Islamic district. There will also be a stop at the traditional Khan el-Khalili Bazaar, with free time for shopping and local experience. Return to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 4 – Old Cairo and Coptic Quarter
The day begins with breakfast and a tour through Old Cairo. The visit includes the Citadel of Saladin with the famous Alabaster Mosque, followed by the churches of the Coptic Quarter, such as the Hanging Church and the Church of St. Sergius. It will be a journey through the Christian and Islamic history of Egypt. At the end, return to the hotel. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 5 – Transfer and Farewell
After breakfast and check-out, a private transfer will be provided to the airport with assistance during boarding. End of services by the Guia Viagem Egito team.
